Much has been said about the iPad being a revolutionary device for education. There are even education conferences that are dedicated to its use.
But again while the ipad has had an impact on education and is delivery that is no more than any tablet has. I think it is safe to say that while other tablets are just as good or better than the ipad the marketing campaigns are not.
Main issues are cost and it inability to interact with other programs that your educational establishment may be using.
